The first full length output from gatlin, nebraska was recorded in the autumn of 2003 in a makeshift studio in Hertfordshire. The record is made up of field recordings, mournfull melodies, shifting drum patterns, electronic treatments, slide guitar, blistering feedback and rockenspiel all drenched in swarms of distortion. Mini Pipski features on rocket 10.
Initially a tape/minidisc release, this album will soon be out on CD-R.
"I was slightly unsure that I would enjoy listening to it, but when I did I was surprised.. It's difficult to pick a favourite track because the recording works best as a unified whole.. light years ahead.. I know what I hate; and I don't hate this."
